Established by Angela Cooper, a veteran of the mortgage and banking industries for more than 25 years, we are honored to share our knowledge and networks. From new clients and realtors to lenders and attorneys, we love creating and fostering relationships, and find joy in helping people buy or refinance a home.

Our Founder
Meet Angela
Market St. Mortgage was established by Pennsylvania native Angela Cooper, whose long career in business and finance was launched while she was still in high school. In 2009, she founded the award-winning West Chester mortgage company The Rate Kings Mortgage, eventually partnering with her husband and growing the business to a multi-million dollar firm with licensure in five states. Following their divorce, Angela launched Market St. Mortgage in 2024 as a boutique brokerage firm with an intentional focus on personalized services.
In her free time, Angela loves to travel and play racquet sports. She has two sons: Zach, an arborist at Longwood Gardens; and 16-year-old Max, a fellow entrepreneur. She lives in West Chester with her boys and her golden retriever, Lucy.
